đ˝ Team,
How are you doing today?
On our side, all good! Every day thinking about good ideas, projects, and content to share and help you achieve your goals.
But, on the other side, we must tell ourselves that focus is all we need to achieve our mission. Wanting to do everything, with so many ideas, distractions, and information, to have a vision, prioritize and focus on what is really important, makes life easier. Donât lose energy with things that are secondary to you.
Speaking of focus, have you ever heard about the most elusive man in North America? He is almost 80-years old and is a "champion" when it comes to ultramarathons. Dag Aabye lives in the middle of the forest (in a school bus) with no cellphone, email address and dedicates his life to build and run on his trails, exploring unknown places.
Two years ago, after several attempts to find him, a video (âď¸) was produced and 14 minutes were enough to take 3 lessons that we can apply on our journey:
â âNever die easy.â
Do not be influenced by the "complexities" presented by society every day. If you want to achieve something so much, do it, whatever the cost. Suffering drives progress.
Show us your true potential and don't let what people say take away your energy.
â°ď¸ âAlways have a mountain in life to climb.â
Just like Dag said: âIf you want to have a life with more to do, than just time, trails give you that because you are always working out.
To go out to the mountains means to have an opportunity. To challenge ourselves. To get to know ourselves a little more. To seek improvements and reach a higher level. On the other side, there is always a reward. Winning or losing, the sacrifice takes us higher. To what is known by the âRunners highâ.
đ âTomorrow I want to be a better person, than today.â
We end where we started. Focus on what is really important for you. Which isâŚYOU.
ââTreat yourself like someone you are responsible for helping,â. In life, throughout your journey, you can count only on YOU and on people who you believe can help you. So, since we are so used to watch other peopleâs lives, what they do and say, focus on what you want to achieve. Focus on who you are and, never forget, do it for yourself, not for the Strava feed.
Don't be afraid of judgments, you don't have to understand why. Your purpose, your mission, your vision, your why is all that matters.
đŁ Would love to hear from youâŚ
